More Than A Moving Billboard: Our Smart Transit
The introduction of our second retail store location, coupled with the fact that owner Patrick would love to be present in both places at the same time, meant traveling the 40 mile round trip journey between Hamburg and Pottsville has become a part of his daily routine. This necessary transit quickly turned into a gas guzzling affair. He sought out a better way.
What we came up with is an incredibly efficient method of travel: the european Smart ForTwo. Even though the unique car looks like a mere roaming advertisement, it represents an effort on our part to help the environment and the gasoline economy. A round trip venture now utilizes much less than one gallon of gas, effectively reducing our consumption to below one half of what it previously had been.
On his regular diamond buying trips, Patrick couldn't help but notice so many of these tiny distinctive cars cruising all around the equally small european streets. After several attempts, importing a smart car finally turned into a reality.
